Proud to be a part of our local communities
Shane and his team are proud to be involved with charitable causes that support community growth and education. We believe that a responsibility of our continued success is giving back and that’s why we proudly support charities and non-profit organizations locally in our own region and throughout Canada, including Covenant House (Toronto), Ontario SPCA, and Ovarian Cancer Canada.
Mortgage Architects is also proud to offer ongoing support to numerous regional and national charity and non-profit organizations, including Make-A-Wish Canada, who are dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of chronically and terminally sick kids in Ontario and nationwide. This partnership allows children to find joy in fulfilling their dreams and spark hope to inspire them to continue to fight their sicknesses.
Shane & Team's Supported Charities
As Canada’s largest agency serving at-risk, homeless and trafficked youth, Covenant House changes lives by providing the widest range of services and support to over 300 youth a day. They educate and advocate by influencing public policy and delivering prevention and awareness programs. They provide 24/7 crisis shelter and transitional housing on-site and in community, along with services including education, counselling, health care, employment help, job training, and aftercare.
The Ontario SPCA is one of the largest, most responsive animal welfare organizations in the country, providing care and shelter for tens of thousands of animals every year. The vision of the Ontario SPCA is to be the recognized authority on animal welfare issues and making a measurable difference for animals. The Ontario SPCA is an integral part of each community, promoting mutually beneficial human-animal interactions for kids and adults.
With early beginnings as the National Ovarian Cancer Association (NOCA), Ovarian Cancer Canada is the only registered Canadian charity solely dedicated to overcoming ovarian cancer. They provide leadership by supporting women living with the disease and their families, raising awareness among the general public and health care professionals, and funding research to develop early detection techniques, improved treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
Mortgage Architects' National Charity
When children are battling a critical illness, so much of normal childhood is taken away from them — it is exhausting, both emotionally and physically. A Wish is something that gives kids the opportunity to look outside their illness — it restores a sense of childhood back to the child and normalcy back to the family. Mortgage Architects has partnered with Make-A-Wish (Canada) to help provide funding for the dreams of chronically sick children in Ontario and all of Canada.
